Inspection Method – 4-in-1 Combination Test

Before testing, carefully read the instruction manual. Allow the test device and samples to reach room temperature (20°C–30°C / 68°F–86°F) before use.

  1. Remove the test device from the original packaging and use it as soon as possible, preferably within 1 hour after opening. Avoid use in environments above 30°C or with high humidity.
  2. Place the test device on a clean, dry, and level surface.
  3. Venous whole blood sample:
Add 2 drops (approx. 50 µL) of whole blood into each sample well corresponding to HIV/Syphilis, HBsAg, and HCV. Then add 1 drop of buffer solution to each well.
  4. Serum / Plasma sample:
Using a plastic dropper, add 3 drops (approx. 75 µL) of serum or plasma vertically into each corresponding sample well.
Note: The serum/plasma method is typically used in medical institutions and requires blood separation.

4 Infectious Diseases – One Sample, Multiple Tests

This multi-infectious disease combination test utilizes highly specific antigen–antibody reactions and immunochromatographic analysis technology to qualitatively detect the presence of target markers in the sample.

  • Syphilis (Treponema pallidum antibodies)
  • HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus antibodies)
  • Hepatitis B (HBsAg – Hepatitis B surface antigen)
  • Hepatitis C (HCV antibodies)

What Is Considered High-Risk Exposure?

  • High-risk sexual behavior
  • Multiple sexual partners
  • Sharing injection equipment
  • Sharing toothbrushes or razors
  • Tattoos or dental procedures in unregulated facilities
  • Direct contact with blood from an infected individual

Two Common Misunderstandings After High-Risk Exposure

  • Misunderstanding 1: Only testing for HIV is sufficient, while ignoring other infectious disease screenings.
  • Misunderstanding 2: No symptoms appear after high-risk exposure, therefore testing is unnecessary.

Recommended approach:
After high-risk exposure, timely use of a combination test is recommended to screen for multiple infectious diseases.
